Berchers Bay

18° 29.4′ N · 64° 20.9′ W

A bay on the outer, south side of Virgin Gorda's eastern peninsula, across the isthmus from Biras Creek and Oil Nut Bay, looking out over open water rather than the sheltered sound.

Practical

Coordinate is the OpenStreetMap bay label (natural=bay, node 2392963271). It lies outside Gorda Sound, the harbour the Coast Pilot describes as sheltered from all winds, and no source with anchoring guidance, depths or moorings for Berchers Bay was found; treat it as a view from the shore or the hills above Biras Creek, not an anchorage. The coastline of this east peninsula is irregular rugged hills ending at Pajaros Point (Coast Pilot).

Best for

Windward-side view from the hills above Biras Creek
