Wide, flat, shallow water inside the north-shore reef and steady trade winds make Anegada one of the best kiteboarding spots in the BVI; Tommy Gaunt runs a kite school and rental base at the Anegada Beach Club.

Position is the Anegada Beach Club (BVI Tourism), where the school is on site. Tommy Gaunt Kitesurfing offers kite and stand-up paddleboard lessons for all levels plus sales and rental of kite gear, paddleboards, kayaks and snorkel gear; season November through June, lessons subject to wind (Anegada Beach Club). Cow Wreck Beach's lagoon is also popular for kiting and windsurfing because the reef blocks the waves (Yacht Charter Fleet). Use the Beach Club shuttle from the Lobster Trap.
