Ton Sai Freshwater Pontoon (Phi Phi Don)

7° 44.2′ N · 98° 46.1′ E · approximate

The water pier in front of Phi Phi Island Hospital at the west end of Ton Sai beach, the one place to fill tanks on Phi Phi and the only dinghy landing on the new promenade.

Practical

Position approx: placed just offshore of Phi Phi Island Hospital (OpenStreetMap 7.7381N 98.7677E), where the Pilot puts the water pier. High-tide depth at the pontoon is 2.8 m. Approach bow-first toward the beach with fenders down very low. It gets busy with day-tripper boats filling up, so be patient. Water costs up to 1,000 THB per cubic metre (Southeast Asia Pilot; verify locally). Fuel: the Pilot lists no yacht fuel dock on Phi Phi, so arrive with full tanks; diesel alongside is at Port Takola on the Krabi River, or carry jerry cans.
