7° 44.3′ N · 98° 46.4′ E · approximate
The car-free village on the isthmus between Ton Sai and Loh Dalum bays: bakeries, an ice factory, dive shops, restaurants and bars, and the ferry pier that links Phi Phi to Phuket, Krabi and Lanta.
Practical

A freshwater pontoon has 2.8 m at high tide: approach bow-first toward the beach with fenders low; water costs up to 1,000 THB per cubic metre (Pilot; verify locally). Send a shore party early in the morning for bread and ice. Restaurants are often full from 6pm to 9pm. Phi Phi Island Hospital is at the west end of the beach by the dinghy pier.
