Wikipedia notes the government hospital is in Nathon. Wikivoyage gives the public hospital number as 077 42 1230; island emergency numbers are Samui Rescue Foundation 077 42 1444, Tourist Police 077 42 1281 or 1155. The private hospitals on the east side (Bangkok Hospital Samui, Bandon International) are better equipped for foreigners.
