The Mu Ko Rok ranger station with a long floating pontoon for day boats, a small restaurant and a campground facing the channel.

Practical

Southeast Asia Pilot: the NPHQ jetty is on the south side of Koh Rok Nai, with a small restaurant and campground at its head. Thainationalparks.com: Ko Rok Nai has a ranger station, restaurant, campsite and accommodation zone; overnight stays need special permission from the park HQ by phone (075 656 577). Fee 400 THB per person per day (Southeast Asia Pilot; verify locally), collected by speedboat from anchored yachts. Monitor lizards wander the camp. Position approximate: the channel-facing beach on Ko Rok Yai (the inner, northern island) in OpenStreetMap, matching the Pilot's description; the pontoon is not mapped.
