Koh Rang – Koh Tun Anchorage
11° 46.6′ N · 102° 23.4′ E · approximate
A 7 m sand anchorage in the gap between southern Koh Rang and its small neighbour Koh Tun (Koh Rang Lek), with a fishermen's shrine on the beach and reef all round the islet.
Practical
Southeast Asia Pilot: anchorage between south Koh Rang and Koh Tun in 7 m on sand; snorkel around the islet; small fishermen's temple on the beach; good overnight in SW season. No waypoint is published. The coordinate is placed in the water between OpenStreetMap's Koh Rang south shore and Koh Tun's north shore, off 'San Jhao (Shrine) Beach'. The gap is narrow, so approach slowly on sight and check depth. Park fee applies.
Best for
SW-season overnight with a snorkel off the back of the boat
Season
