Koh Ngai Water (Koh Ngai Resort Pier)

7° 24.3′ N · 99° 13.0′ E

The Koh Ngai Resort pier on the island's southeast tip, which the Southeast Asia Pilot names as the handy place in the Trang islands to fill your tanks.

Practical

Southeast Asia Pilot (Koh Ngai East): the resort pier on the southeast tip is a handy place to fill your tanks; a few shallow rocks lie close to the pier, so come in at high tide or check by dinghy first. The Pilot does not say whether fuel is sold, and no other source we opened lists diesel or petrol on Koh Ngai: carry jerry cans from Lanta, or buy outboard petrol from the fuel pumps on Koh Muk (see Koh Muk Water and Fuel). Ask at the resort reception about water and any charge before going alongside (no price published). A small jetty on the southeast corner serves bungalows and a restaurant with limited supplies. Position: OpenStreetMap Koh Ngai Resort pier.
