A sand patch just west of the Hin Takon Dukang rocks off Lipe's north-east corner, near Koh Kra — the Southeast Asia Pilot's pick for the southwest season, when the west-side bays get the swell.
Practical
Southeast Asia Pilot (anchorage D, 6°29.725N 99°18.765E): just west of Hin Takon Dukang in 8-10 m; better in the SW season. Hin Takon Dukang itself is a dive site of granite formations to about 18 m (Wikivoyage), so give the rocks room and keep the anchor on sand. Short dinghy ride to Sunrise Beach. Coordinates are the Pilot's waypoint.
