The east-facing beach (Hat Chao Ley) beside Lipe's Urak Lawoi sea-gypsy village, home to the dive shops and the water taxis across to Koh Adang.
Practical
Dive centres here include Castaway Divers, Adang Sea Divers and Forra Diving (Wikivoyage). Water taxi to Koh Adang about 100 THB per person (Wikivoyage; verify locally). Lipe Hospital is beside the school here. The Urak Lawoi first settled Lipe and still hold boat festivals (see the Loy Rua entry).
