Hin Takon Dukang Dive Site

6° 29.7′ N · 99° 18.9′ E · approximate

A cluster of granite boulders off Lipe's north-east corner, dropping to about 18 m, with hard coral, reef fish and blue-spotted stingrays on the sand.

Practical

Wikivoyage: 'Hin Takorn Dukong', granite formations up to 18 m. The Southeast Asia Pilot's anchorage D is 'just west of Hin Takon Dukang', so this position is approximate, placed slightly east of that waypoint; dive-the-world describes a similar reef, 'Hin Takarm', rising from 30 m to within 5 m south-east of Lipe, with moderate to strong currents and green and hawksbill turtles. Whether these are the same rock is not confirmed; dive with a Lipe shop. Treat the rocks as a navigation hazard when moving between Lipe and Koh Kra.
