The anchorage off Tarutao's park headquarters, below pine-fringed Pante Malacca beach and the To-Boo cliff, with a mangrove creek to explore by dinghy.
Practical
Southeast Asia Pilot (6°42.046N 99°38.480E): anchor south-west of the rock outcrop in 6-10 m on sand, or just north of the creek entrance tripod marker; many government moorings available. Cement pier at the mangrove creek entrance for shallow-draft vessels. The Pilot quotes a 500 THB per person landing fee; current published park entry is 200 THB per foreign adult (thainationalparks.com, June 2026; Wikivoyage), so verify locally. Exposed to the west: a NE-season anchorage. No ATM on the island: bring cash.
