6° 41.0′ N · 99° 38.5′ E · approximate
The park's second canteen, at the Ao Molae campground and bungalows 4 km south of HQ — a quiet beachfront meal and a base for night walks.
Practical
thainationalparks.com: Mo Lae Bay has a restaurant, camping area and park accommodation; limited mountain bikes rent from the restaurant; park restaurants normally open 7am–2pm and 5pm–9pm but may close earlier. Wikivoyage: the park runs two restaurants (fried rice about 70 THB, beer 50 THB; verify locally). Position approximate: the Ao Molae Beach position used in this file; the restaurant itself is not mapped. Walk or cycle the 4.2 km road from Ao Pante, or land by dinghy off the beach in settled NE-season weather. Electricity is from a generator for about six evening hours. Wikivoyage: the park service also runs a mini-mart; no ATMs on Tarutao, so bring cash; bikes rent for about 250 THB a day (verify locally). OpenStreetMap maps an unnamed restaurant with toilets at the south end of Molae (Ao Jak, 6.67248, 99.63916) tagged open daily 7am to 2pm and 5pm to 8pm, possibly this canteen. Drinking water: buy bottled water at the park restaurants; no source confirms a potable tap at Molae.
