4° 22.4′ S · 55° 50.6′ E
La Digue's best coastal walk: from the surf of Grand Anse over a low headland to Petite Anse, then through forest and over two little wooden bridges to Anse Cocos and Anse Caiman.
Practical
Start coordinate is Grand Anse (OpenStreetMap); a map at the beach shows the route. SeyVillas: 2.25 km, about 2 hours return with photo stops, easy, about 60 m of climbing; start before 9am because half is unshaded; wear proper shoes and carry 2 litres of water each; suits children from about 6. Swim only in the sheltered parts of Anse Cocos or Anse Caiman.
Best for
A half-day hike from the bike
