Denis Island Lighthouse (1910)
3° 48.0′ S · 55° 40.0′ E · approximate
A red-and-white banded skeletal iron tower at the island's northern point, built in 1910 on a station established in 1883, 27 m tall with a 37 m focal height.
Practical
Listed light characteristic Fl W 5s, range 10 nm, solar powered (Wikipedia), but the Lighthouse Directory reports it inactive and kept as a historic reminder, and the 1991 Pub. 171 note says trees may obscure it: do not rely on it for a night approach (night sailing is not allowed on charter boats anyway). The tower is reported open for climbing to the gallery. Coordinate is approximate: plotted at the north end of the island outline in OpenStreetMap.
