Cerf Island Snorkel Trail
4° 37.9′ S · 55° 29.9′ E · approximate
A beginner snorkel trail from the main beach with four marked stops along buoys about 100 m offshore; Wikipedia notes superb coral reefs on Cerf's north side where turtles swim.
Practical
Approximate: placed off Cerf's north shore, where Wikipedia locates the best reefs; the trail itself starts from the beach used by tour boats. Better snorkelling is reported on the southern and eastern reef edges away from the boats, and currents can be stronger around Cerf than elsewhere in the park (moyenneisland.com). Gear can be hired from the hotels. Park fees and no-take rules apply.
