A small resort marina with cabins on the south side of Mitchell Bay, on the quiet west coast of San Juan Island. It is close to the south end of Mosquito Pass and handy for the west-side whale coast.
Practical
Position is approximate, at the resort docks (OSM hotel and state access-site points). The Coast Pilot describes about 70 berths with electricity, gasoline, water, ice, limited marine supplies and a launch ramp. Enter Mitchell Bay north of the small islet in the middle of the bay: a rock that uncovers 6 ft (1.8 m) lies about 100 yards west of the islet. Call ahead for transient space; current rates and fuel status were not confirmed for 2026.
