Fulford Harbour (Salt Spring Island)
48° 46.0′ N · 123° 26.8′ W · approximate
A long harbour on Salt Spring's south end, ending at the small village of Fulford with cafes, a store and the Swartz Bay ferry landing. It has an easy-going rural feel.
Practical
Position is approximate, in the upper harbour south-east of the village. Anchor off the head of the harbour in moderate depths (check chart 3478); exposed to southeasterlies blowing straight up the harbour and to wash from the BC Ferries terminal. The harbour authority's outer public float just south of the ferry terminal allows overnight moorage (no water or power); the inner float north of the terminal is full of local boats. Fulford Harbour Marina (250-653-4467) has been listed as transient moorage, but confirm it is operating. Small grocery and cafes in the village.
Best for
A quiet harbour with a village ashore
