Canoe Cove Marina (North Saanich)
48° 41.0′ N · 123° 24.2′ W
A big working marina and boatyard tucked among small islands just south of the Swartz Bay ferry terminal. It has a fuel dock, a cafe and a short walk to the ferry, and it is the closest mainland base to Portland and Moresby islands.
Practical
Coordinate is the OSM marina outline. VHF 66A. About 450 berths, mostly permanent, with some visitor moorage; call ahead. Fuel dock with gas, diesel and propane; guides report customs reporting by phone at the fuel dock, but confirm with CBSA (1-888-226-7277) before relying on it. Power 30 and 50 amp, washrooms, showers, laundry, Wi-Fi, chandlery and full repair yard. Cafe on site. The approach winds between islets and rocks that are charted but close together: use chart 3476 and go slowly. BC Ferries traffic is heavy just to the north off Swartz Bay.
