Siquijor North Coast Anchorage
9° 13.6′ N · 123° 32.8′ E
An anchorage on a narrow shelf off Siquijor's north coast, between Siquijor town and Larena, used by cruisers breaking the passage from Bohol to southern Negros.
Practical
MV Solita cruising notes (Woods, 2014): 9 13.61'N 123 32.85'E, 10-12 m over sand and low bommies. Easy access, but the coast shelves steeply to a narrow strip of reef. Protected from south-east to south-west winds, but swell can roll along the coast from the west; they spent a rolly night here in a strong south-west monsoon. Small village ashore; close to Larena port; patchy mobile signal.
Best for
Overnight stop on the Bohol-Negros run
Season
SE-SW winds; rolly in W swell
