Mount Bandilaan and Butterfly Sanctuary

Siquijor's highest point, in a forest nature park where farmers have found fossil seashells, with Stations of the Cross along the short path to the top and a butterfly sanctuary nearby.

Practical

Park position from OpenStreetMap (Nominatim). Wikivoyage: 5-10 minutes from the road to the summit on a poorly kept path; Butterfly Sanctuary just outside Cang-apa village (9.1916N 123.6005E). Cantabon Cave (9.1877N 123.5640E) takes about 1.5 hours to walk through, needs a local guide and registration in town, and is kept locked.
