Sinulog Festival

Cebu's huge religious and street festival for the Santo Niño, held on the third Sunday of January, with drum-driven prayer dances, a fluvial procession and parties - over 5.2 million people attended in 2026.
Practical
Coordinates are the Basilica del Santo Niño, the centre of the celebrations. Expect sold-out hotels, closed roads and severe traffic across Metro Cebu for the whole week; the harbour is busy with procession boats. Carmen (north of Cebu City) holds its own Sinulog.
