Cebu City's oldest and largest public market, with about 6,000 vendors of fruit, vegetables, meat, fish, dry goods and handicrafts a few blocks from the port - the place for bulk fresh produce at local prices.

Under phased redevelopment by Megawide (Cebu2World) since 2020; an interim market building is open and the first of three new market buildings is due by December 2026, so stall locations shift. Go early in the morning for the best produce; watch bags in the crowds. From the Cebu Yacht Club cruisers take a jeepney or taxi across the bridges (Hacking Family). Ferries from Lapu-Lapu run to Pier 3 nearby (about 20-25 PHP, every 20-30 minutes in daytime).
