Practical

Coordinates from the PGYC directory (N12°35.37' E122°16.42'). Status: club facilities and visitor access TEMPORARILY CLOSED; no VHF channel listed. Do not count on moorings, water, fuel or a dinghy dock here; anchor in the harbour instead and ask locally whether the club has reopened. Dawnbreaker (2016) could not find the guest moorings shown in their guide. Cruiser history (Soggy Paws compendium): the club was founded by local expats who laid moorings in the small bay just north of the harbour (see Romblon North Bay Moorings); fees 100 PHP/night in 2011-2014 and 150 PHP/day in 2018, paid at the bar (verify locally). In April 2018 the club bar opened daily from 4:30pm when visiting boats were in; in November 2016 Mystic Rhythms found nobody there and the bar closed. The 2012-era club listing offered moorings, a launching ramp, and fuel and water by arrangement. Soggy Paws stresses the mooring area is not a typhoon hole.
