Ferries from Batangas (Montenegro, 2GO), Lucena via Banton and San Agustin (Starhorse), and Manila (Romblon Shipping Lines) have served the port (Wikivoyage, 2020; check current schedules). Bancas run to San Agustin (Tablas) and to Sibuyan. Maritime Police and Tourist Police posts are mapped along the waterfront. The Coast Guard issues departure clearance and suspends small-vessel sailings when wind signals are raised or seas are rough.
