Oryoku Maru Wreck
14° 48.8′ N · 120° 16.9′ E
The 'hell ship' Oryoku Maru, sunk by US Navy aircraft on 15 December 1944 while carrying about 1,620 Allied prisoners of war, lies in about 20 m just off Alava Pier. It is a sombre dive on a war grave.
Practical
OSM position about 400 m off Alava Pier (Wikivoyage), depth about 20 m. Wikipedia: roughly 270 died aboard, and only 403 of the 1,620 POWs survived to liberation in 1945. The site is commemorated by the Hell Ship Memorial. It lies inside the active port: dive only with an operator, and treat it as a grave site.
