The anchorage off the Mamburao River mouth, closest to town and the market, with a deep river behind the bar that is good for birding by dinghy.
Practical
Position: hackingfamily 13 13.14N 120 35.10E, 17 ft sand, Globe and Smart 4G (May 2022). Hackingfamily: getting into the river in front of this anchorage is challenging because the bottom changes - enter toward the beach east of the river, then run close along the beach to get around the offshore bar; the river is deep for a long way. Less protected than the west anchorage; avoid the reefs extending 5 nm SW of town. Fish market near the bridge, fruit and vegetable market nearby (see Mamburao Town Market).
