Kookoo's Nest (Bonbonon)
9° 3.0′ N · 123° 7.2′ E
An eco-friendly micro-resort on the eastern side of the Bonbonon entrance, with good food and snorkelling off its beach, reached by dinghy from the anchorage.
Practical
Position: OpenStreetMap (Kookoo's Nest Restaurant, Siaton). Philippines Compendium: Solita (2012) says Kookoo's Nest is expat-run on the east side of the entrance and Tongo Sail Inn, owned by Nigel and Pilar, is on the west side; both serve meals and drinks. Kelaerin (2011) dinghied round to Kookoo's Nest for good food and snorkelling. Noonsite (2015) adds that Spike from Tongo Island Resort on the western point and Nigel from the boat works run into Dumaguete at least Monday and Friday and take passengers for PHP 200 return.
