Coron Point Light and East Approach
11° 59.1′ N · 120° 13.4′ E
The minor flashing light on Coron Point marks the eastern doorway to Coron town, where the channel narrows between Busuanga and the cliffs of Coron Island past the Siete Pecados islets.
Practical
Light characteristic recorded in OpenStreetMap as Fl (flashing); period not recorded there, check your chart. The town approach from here west is buoyed with AIS-equipped marks (Hackingfamily). Heavy banca traffic from 7am onward as island-hopping tours leave town; do not navigate this channel at night because of unlit fish traps, floats and moored bancas.
