Santa Cruz PEMEX Dinghy Fuel

15° 45.3′ N · 96° 7.8′ W

The PEMEX station across from the Port Captain at Santa Cruz harbor, where cruisers fill diesel by jerry can and ferry it out by dinghy.

Practical

Position is the OpenStreetMap outline of the 'Dos Océanos' fuel station on Calle Tehuantepec, across from the Port Captain at the harbor entrance. Practical Sailor (2025): jerry-can it by dinghy; do not bring the big boat in, because the fuel wall is rough. S/V Liquid also reported a commercial fuel dock in Santa Cruz (2017). Liberation II paid 440 MXN for 42 liters of diesel in 2012 (verify locally).
