Beach· Bahía Concepción· Mexico
Playa El Burro
26° 43.9′ N · 111° 54.4′ W · approximate
A sandy crescent of palapas and solar-powered cabanas in Bahía Coyote, long a cruiser hangout — a resident once ran SSB weather from his house here, and the beach hosts a Fourth of July party.
Practical
Coordinate is approximate, between the El Burro anchorage pin and the shoreline mapped in OpenStreetMap. No grid power — homes and bars run on solar and generators. Trailhead to a petroglyph hike is across the highway near the El Burro turnoff. Mulegé is about 15 mi north by road.
