Acapulco's beginner sites: 8-12 m of rock formations and sand with gentle currents, swim-throughs, camouflaged stonefish, spotted morays and eagle rays lifting off the sand.

Approximate: Quién (2017) lists Palmitas y el Jardín among the sites reached by the 30-minute panga ride from Caleta or Caletilla around Isla La Roqueta, but no source found gives its exact position; the point is set off Roqueta's south shore (island outline OSM way 157440090) only so it plots near the island. Ask the dive operator for the site. Depth 8-12 m, gentle current, suits beginners and snorkelers (Quién). Best visibility Nov-Feb; wetsuit needed Mar-May.
