Marina Fonatur Santa Rosalía

27° 20.2′ N · 112° 15.8′ W

A small government (Fonatur) marina inside the Santa Rosalía breakwater — the only slips between Puerto Escondido and the north.

Practical

About 20 slips up to 50 ft plus one longer end tie. VHF 16. Tel +52 615 152 1769 / 152 1768; mmabarca@fonatur.gob.mx (per the Baja Ha-Ha marina list; customerservice@fonatur.gob.mx also used). Fuel dock reported open in 2021-2022; a gas station sits across the road as backup. Facilities reported clean with slips available (2021-2022). Fonatur rates are set nationally — verify locally. Marina security discourages anchored boats from using the dock unless arranged with the office. The dockmaster can help arrange port clearance. The old municipal marina was destroyed by Hurricane Odile (September 2014). One crew paid MXN 14 per foot per night in February 2024 (verify locally); slips are narrow and side-tie, awkward in a strong downwind entry. See 'Santa Rosalía Fuel (Marina Dock and Servicio Urima)'.
