Iglesia de Santa Bárbara (Santa Rosalía)
27° 20.2′ N · 112° 16.1′ W
A prefabricated stamped-steel church long attributed to Gustave Eiffel, shown in Paris in 1889 and shipped here by the Boleo mining company — Santa Rosalía's most famous building.
Practical
In the town centre, a few blocks' walk from the marina. Attribution to Eiffel is tradition, not proven (a French architect, Duclos, has also been proposed). Still an active church.
Best for
Architecture and history on a town walk
