Position: Playa La Ventana in OpenStreetMap. About 40 minutes by road south-east of La Paz. Official windsurf season November-March; kiters mainly November to early March; winter gusts about 15-30 kn, typically building after midday. Hosts the La Ventana Classic. Rentals and lessons in the village. For a yacht this is an open N-facing beach - wind and chop make it a poor anchorage in the kite season; visit by car from La Paz or in calm southerly weather.
