Ensenada Blanca Beach

25° 43.6′ N · 111° 15.0′ W · approximate

One of the white mainland swimming beaches south of Puerto Escondido, fronting the little fishing village of Ensenada Blanca whose cooperative runs blue-whale pangas.

Practical

Coordinate is the GeoNames 'Ensenada Blanca' village point (a populated place, on land at the beach). Loreto.com lists Ensenada Blanca with Juncalito, Ligüí, San Nicolás and El Quemado as the park's mainland swimming beaches. Land the dinghy from the Ensenada Blanca Anchorage. No village services were confirmed online—provision at Ligüí or Puerto Escondido. Not to be confused with the Ensenada Blanca trail on Isla Coronado. CONANP protected-area fee applies: a Loreto Bay National Park day pass (bracelet) was MX$215 per person in 2025, and the annual Conservation Passport (MX$3,620 in 2025) covers every federal protected area; buy online at descubreanp.conanp.gob.mx or from the rangers at La Dársena in Loreto, and carry proof aboard.
