El Arco (Land's End)

22° 52.5′ N · 109° 53.7′ W

The 200 ft granite arch at the very tip of the Baja peninsula, where the Pacific meets the Sea of Cortez - sea lions haul out on the rocks below and every sailor rounds it on arrival.

Practical

Coordinate from Wikipedia. Best seen from your own boat, a kayak or SUP on a calm morning; entering the arch by small craft is dangerous when the sea is up, water levels surge, and staying close to its sides is not recommended (Wikipedia). Part of the CONANP Cabo San Lucas protected area - carry a Conservation Passport. Lover's Beach is just inside on the Sea of Cortez side and Divorce Beach on the Pacific side. Watch for heavy tour-boat traffic all day.
