Climb the big headland that shelters the Los Frailes anchorage for a 360-degree view over Cabo Pulmo National Park and the reef.
Practical
Pin is the 'Cerro los Frailes' summit node in OpenStreetMap (212 m). Land by dinghy on the beach at the north end of the anchorage. A Lindblad expedition group (February 2020) climbed it from the bay, gaining 769 ft to the summit. No marked trail described in our sources - scramble on loose desert rock, wear shoes, carry water and avoid midday heat. Part of Cabo Pulmo National Park; carry your Conservation Passport.
