An easy walk from Cabo Pulmo village up a low hill to a pergola viewpoint overlooking the reef and the Gulf of California.
Practical
Pin is the 'Pergola' viewpoint node in OpenStreetMap, about 800 m inland of the village. Costa Palmas lists it as easy: 2.7 mi out and back, 209 ft gain, starting in town. Good in the late afternoon after a morning on the reef. Reach the village by dinghy from Los Frailes (2.5 miles) in settled weather - anchoring, even a dinghy, is prohibited inside the park's reef zone, so land on the beach.
