19° 5.1′ N · 104° 17.8′ W · approximate
Manzanillo is one of the places where the Mexican army bank (Banjercito) issues the ten-year Temporary Import Permit for foreign yachts, which you cannot get in Cabo San Lucas or Puerto Vallarta.
Practical
Position approximate: placed at the Manzanillo customs (Aduana) building from OpenStreetMap; the exact location of the Banjercito window for boat permits was not confirmed — ask the port captain or at customs. Latitude 38 (2011) names La Paz, Mazatlán and Manzanillo as places to get the permit. Permits can also be started online with Banjercito. A Banjército bank branch is mapped in Melaque, but it was not confirmed that it issues boat permits. Cancel a TIP only at a Banjercito office at a port of entry.
