Baja Ferries Terminal (Mazatlán)

23° 11.3′ N · 106° 25.3′ W

The maritime terminal in the old harbor where cruise ships berth and the Baja Ferries run to Pichilingue (La Paz). It's useful for crew changes, or for shipping parts and vehicles across the Gulf.

Practical

Wikivoyage: the La Paz ferry takes 12 hours or more and leaves Mazatlán almost daily (check weekend departures). The ferries and cruise ships use the same channel as the old-harbor anchorage, so keep the fairway clear and listen on VHF 16 for traffic. The Mexican Navy also runs the Islas Marías ferry from Mazatlán on alternate Fridays. Coordinate is from Wikivoyage.
