Car and passenger ferries run from Pichilingue to Mazatlán and Topolobampo - useful for crew going to the mainland, and a traffic hazard to watch around the port.

Position: Ferry La Paz terminal in OpenStreetMap. Baja Ferries routes to Mazatlán (about 12 hours) and Topolobampo (about 7-8 hours) per OpenStreetMap route data; ticket office downtown at Allende 1025 (612-128-9425) and TMC at Olachea 3045 (Club Cruceros guide 2025). Ferries turn out of Pichilingue fast and you cannot see them until they turn north - keep at least half a mile off Isla Nepomuceno (The Log).
