17° 37.0′ N · 63° 15.1′ W
The Saba Conservation Foundation's office at Fort Bay, where every visiting yacht registers for the Saba National Marine Park - the no-nonsense, self-funded park that has protected the whole coastline from the high-water mark to 60 m (200 ft) since 1987.
Practical
Coordinates are the SCF office at Fort Bay (OpenStreetMap). Fees on the park's Cost of Mooring page: yacht fee US$3 per person (or US$0.10 per ton for yachts over 100 tons) plus a mandatory nature fee of US$1 per visitor per night, collected when you register; Noonsite and the park's older yachting page describe the US$3 as per person per week - confirm which applies (no year stated; verify locally). Divers pay a separate US$3 per dive park fee, collected by the dive shops. Phone +599 416 3295. Yellow moorings are the visitor moorings (max 20 m / 66 ft or 50 t, first-come first-served, max 7 days); red and white moorings are for licensed dive boats only. You may not dive without a Saba dive operator - independent scuba diving is not allowed in the park.
