Dominica's main port of entry, in the ferry/cruise terminal on the Roseau waterfront - the most reliable office for clearing a yacht, open seven days a week.

Practical

Coordinates: OpenStreetMap Roseau ferry terminal. Noonsite (Jan 2025): Customs and Immigration are in the cruise-ship/ferry terminal; the dinghy dock outside is hard to use - land elsewhere and walk. Open 7 days; Saturday 10 am to 2 pm, Sunday 1 pm to 4 pm (weekday hours not published). Commercial traffic has priority: wait for ferry passengers to clear; when a cruise ship is in, officers close the office from around 7 am to 8:30 am to board the ship. Find officers in yellow uniforms at the ferry dock to be escorted. One-week in/out clearance on request (other reports say up to two weeks). Moving to another port needs a 24-hour cruising permit (Roseau or Portsmouth). Reported fees EC$10-75 depending on size and crew (noforeignland); a 2018 report paid EC$85 for two including the cruising permit - verify locally. Express des Iles ferries (Guadeloupe, Martinique, St Lucia) use this terminal.
