Dominica Online ED Card & SailClear

15° 17.8′ N · 61° 23.4′ W · approximate

Dominica's two online pre-arrival steps: SailClear for the vessel and crew (still wanted by the authorities) and the government's online Embarkation/Disembarkation (ED) card, which gives each person a QR code to show on arrival.

Practical

Online processes - the coordinate is a placeholder at the Roseau customs office. SailClear: Noonsite researcher (Feb 2025) confirmed authorities still want sailors to use SailClear; SailClear introduced a US$25 annual subscription from 1 May 2024 (area guide). ED card: edcard.dominica.gov.dm - submit no more than 3 days before arrival; save or print the confirmation and QR code and show it with your passport. Noonsite (Feb 2025) says the ED card does not replace SailClear and is optional for cruisers; Discover Dominica says all travellers must complete it. Help: Dominica Tourism Concierge (767) 275-7298 / 7293, 8 am to 4 pm daily. Pets need an import permit from the Veterinary Unit (Discover Dominica).
