Morne Morel & Fort Caroline Walk

A short trail over Morne Morel (136 m) on the north coast between Marigot and Pompierre bays, to the ruins of the Caroline battery and on to Pointe Zozio, with views over Les Roches Percées and the Atlantic.
Practical
Position is the Batterie Caroline ruins (OSM). Fort Caroline and Pointe Zozio are among the commune's official hiking circuits; Morne Morel is a protected biotope (English Wikipedia). Combine with a swim at Pompierre. Hot and exposed - start early.
