Dominica's highest mountain (1,447 m / 4,747 ft) and the second-highest peak in the Lesser Antilles: a steep climb through rainforest, montane forest and elfin cloud forest to views over the Cabrits and Portsmouth - when the clouds lift.

Practical

Summit coordinates from Wikipedia. Trail (Forestry): starts about 1/4 mile north of Dublanc on the Syndicate feeder road; about 2 km of steep trail; difficult; 2-3 hours one way. A guide is strongly recommended; do not start after 10 am; carry at least 1 litre of water. Eco-site fee for non-residents: US$8 single / US$20 day / US$50 week (effective Dec 2025). Summit often in cloud and very muddy.
