In winter, northerly swells wrap into the northwest-coast bays and can make Little Bay, Rendezvous and Carr's Bay rolly or untenable.

Marker at Little Bay. Noonsite: during the winter swells can make some anchorages untenable at certain times; landing on the beach becomes difficult in surf - use the wharf. Pick a settled window; there is no breakwater (the planned breakwater and marina project is on hold).
