The anchorage off Cockleshell and Banana bays facing Nevis across the Narrows, with Reggae Beach Bar and Spice Mill on the sand and Nevis Peak filling the view.
Practical
Restaurants and bars ashore; free Wi-Fi from Reggae Beach Bar (ActiveCaptain). The bottom has become largely covered in seagrass; there are sand patches, visible in clear water, but setting can take several tries - don't arrive just before sunset, and dive to check. The Park Hyatt now fronts Banana Bay. Swimmers finish the Nevis-to-St Kitts Cross Channel Swim at Cockleshell Bay - watch for them on race day.
