Practical
Coordinate is the Na Ala Hele trailhead. On Honoapiilani Highway (Hwy 30) between mile markers 40 and 41, north of Honolua Bay and just before Nakalele. 1.2-mile loop, about 200 ft gain, rated moderate; hazard: dangerous cliffs. Hunting may be in progress nearby. A good place to look at Pailolo Channel conditions before a crossing to Molokai.
